NFL – Dolphin Hill says could have been better during traffic stop.
Hill, who was arrested for a DUI, was pulled over by police in Miami on Saturday. During the stop, Hill was handcuffed and placed in the back of a police car. He was also reportedly seen arguing with officers. Hill, speaking to reporters on Wednesday, said that he “could have behaved better” but maintained that he was not being treated fairly.

Hill refuses, and the officer then uses his baton to strike Hill’s car window, shattering it. This incident occurred on July 1, 2023, in the city of Atlanta, Georgia. The officer, identified as Officer Michael Smith, was responding to a call about a suspicious vehicle.
Hill, who was visibly shaken, was asked to provide his name and address. He provided the information, but his demeanor remained tense. He was then asked to step into the police car, where he was placed in the back seat.
Gone,” Hill said. The officer involved in the traffic stop was placed on administrative duties, but Hill feels that he should be fired. Hill’s frustration stems from the perceived lack of accountability and the belief that the officer’s actions were egregious. Hill believes that the administrative leave is insufficient and that the officer should be fired for his actions.
Hill still managed to play in Sunday’s game, scoring an 80-yard touchdown en route to the team’s 20-17 victory. (Reporting by Frank Pingue in Toronto; Editing by Bill Berkrot) By Frank Pingue
