My 1996 Jellybean Zen got ICEd : Details on the parts used and budget

I’ve been working on a project to restore a 1969 BMW 2002. I’ve been following the process and documenting it on my blog, but I’ve been too busy to share it here. I’ve finally got the engine out and I’m now in the process of disassembling the transmission. I’m excited to share my progress with you all and I beamerbug_06 is looking forward to your feedback and advice.

The Journey Begins

The restoration of a classic car like the 1969 BMW 2002 is a significant undertaking that requires patience, dedication, and attention to detail.

The blank panel was later replaced by a 2D audio system, which was a significant upgrade at that time. The 2D audio system was a major selling point for the Maruti Zen in the 90s. It was a 2D audio system that played 2D audio tracks, which were essentially 2D representations of audio tracks.

I was disappointed but not surprised. I was expecting a premium sound system, but I got a basic one instead.

The Disappointment of a Basic Sound System

The car’s audio system was a major letdown for me. I had high expectations, but the reality was far from what I had hoped for.

They were very helpful in explaining the electrical wiring and the installation process. They were very professional and courteous in their approach.
